How to Deal with Depression? 


Nowadays, depression is common in our society or even in world.  Even sometimes,  we are also in depression with many personal  reasons. If we noticed our surroundings, every single person is suffered from Depression.  

According to the latest Report in Express Tribune 44% of Pakistan's entire  population suffered from Depression. 
(57.5% in women, 25% in men
Only 750 trained psychiatrists in Pakistan,  which there is one Doctor for 10,000 people. 
So here,  the Question is:

(What is Depression?)

Depression is mood disorder,  which caused by over thinking, abusing,  tension, torture,
And due to many other reasons. 
So, as we can say that "depression is an alternative name of tension"
It's also a type of Mental disorder . When we start think as much as our capacity,  it results as a Depression





•Main Causes of Depression:
There are Thousands of causes of depression. Here we discussed some more common and well known causes.  These are:

1. Stress:
Main reason of stress is our surroundings. Because we observed our environment,  noticed people's talk and views, if we feel them different from our thinking then we start over thinking,  take them seriously and it effects our mental health and cause stress.  It's a initial condition of depression. 

2. Past physical, sexual or emotional abuse:
Sometimes,  there are some bad memories exists in our brain and irritates us continuously and effect our brain and cause depression. It's a extreme condition of depression, called "clinical depression "

3. Starvation:
It's another big reason of depression which leads us to this horrible disease depression. 
Starvation affects our stomach and slow down our internal mechanism. 

4. Loneliness:
It's a major reason of depression, when we stay alone for a long period of time,  silence prevails around us, then we have a lot of good and bad thoughts which affects on brain. 

5. Genetics:
People that have a family history of depression , may suffer from depression too in their life. 

There are many other reasons of depression like:
Insecurity, lack of confidence, biological changes, over sleep, lack of sleep, drug abuse, chronic disorders, inflammation or social life etc. 



•Symptoms of Depression:

There are many symptoms of depression but here we discussed some common symptoms. 
These are:

1. Change in Personality:
If a person behave differently from its normal or regular behavior so it may be depressed. 

2. Lack of self care:
When a person is not taking care of his self as he cared before like did not comb properly,  did not dress up properly,  did not eat well so it's may be depressed. 

3. Risky Behavior:
If a person is doing strange things or talk like mentals,  forgot what he talks,  attack on others or attack on himself too so it's may be depressed. 

4. Anger:
When a person get angry without any reason or react like a fire or even he gets angry in no minute without any reason or talk loudly or breaks something.  It's may be start of depression. 

5. Hopelessness:
If a person is very hopeful person but suddenly he lost his hope and talking with hopelessness and expect nothing from his self or others,  start live alone or stay in home for a long period of time so he is in depression for sure. 

There are some symptoms but these are not enough.. 


• Cures for Depression:

Majority thinks that there is no cure for depression.  So yes,  it is so true because if depression reaches its extreme condition which is "clinical depression " then there is no cure for it.  
If it's chronic then we can treat it with few cures like:

1. Match your Thoughts:
It means match your thoughts with your environment or with your surroundings.  Understand people around you. Understand that what you see it what you think. 

2. Set goals:
Yeah!  You have to set goals and make efforts to achieve them.  It helps you to divert your attention and you will stop thinking a lot and will just focus on your goals which helps you to be active. 
3. Exercise:
It helps you to be fresh and active.  Start walk or other exercise.  It just like a target and you will try to achieve it. 
4. Socialise:
Use phone,  laptop,  play games, make friends or do anything for being socialise. It will help you to be aware and change your mind according to society. 
5. Go outside:
It's a good way.  Go outsied for  walk in mornings, go outside for play cricket or other activity,  go outside for movie and shopping or with friends for make some hangouts. Will keep your mind calm and relax.  
There are many other cures like:
Accurate sleep,  eat healthy,  proper diet,  medication, change believes, faith or etc.




When disease is properly diagnosed then we treat it completely.  Suggest it's cures and follow a good doctor.
