Poverty Eleviation is the Best Tool to Overcome All Social Evils 

What is Poverty? 

First of all, it's necessary to know about  poverty that what is poverty actually??  

Poverty (غر بت) is not enough food or not enough sources of income and lack of education due to lack of money and awareness. Poverty may include social,  economic and political elements. 

Absolute poverty is a complete lack of  means necessary to meet basic personal needs like: food, clothing, shelter etc. 

"Causes of Poverty"

There are many causes of  poverty but here we will discussed some main reasons:

1Lack of Education:

Actually in Pakistan, literacy rate is 60% . It means 40% of people are uneducated.

It's main reason is lack of awareness and money..  

2. High divorce rate:

In Pakistan, divorce rate is reached to about  74% said higher education,  5.17% informed religious conflict, 5.62% said misunderstandings were the major reason of divorce..  As literacy rate increased,  divorce rate is reached also increased.  

3. Unemployment:

One of the major issue is unemployment,  it means,  a person is educated but do nothing for income.  He is jobless because he has no money to give officers in rank as a bribery..  That's why he is jobless..  

4. Corruption:

One of the biggest reason in our country is corruption.   A Rich man uses its resources  to get hight position in society and business that's why a poor one lost chance to establish his identity..  

5. Bribery:

Everyone is in the ocean of bribery which causes the poverty in our society..  Who has no money to give as a bribery, he had nothing in society. 

Bashiran Bibi's Story:

This topic reminds me  a heart rending event mentions in the Newspaper.  Bashiran bibi, a maid,  just 25 in age the sole bread winner of her 2 sons and a daughter, all  under the age of 3, jumped in front of a speedy train along with her children. My heart bleeds that how a mother, how such a mother... Once Kalil jibran said " a mother is a divine spirit, full of beauty and love and another face of God"

How a mother can take the life of her own kids?? When i asked this question, I find no answer. 

When I read in detail, I came to know that it was the hunger, the poverty which forced her to took this step and compelled her to dig the grave of her own kids. 

The screams of her hungry children tormented her and she started begging  and then ended her life. 

The screams of so many hungry  and poor children are echoing in the whole world and people are killing themselves.  

My dear friends,  "one lack sixty thousand small farmers committed suicide in India"

Poverty is taking the life of so many low areas of Pakistan. 

Riaz Hussain's story:

16 years old Riaz Hussain is calling his father back to life who's father hung himself on a tree.  His eyes are complaining and he is yelling aloud , poverty, yes it's poverty that took my father away.

"A hungry man is an angry man" is exactly true as poverty is a condition where people's basic needs of food, clothing and shelter are not being met and this situation creates many social evils. As Gandhi said 

"Poverty is the worst form of violence"

Victims of poverty cannot fulfil their basic needs and have no excess to means required 

to maintain the minimum level of physical health and proper living standards 

G.B Shaw has rightly reflected:

"the greatest of all evil and the worst of all crimes is poverty"

If I say,  poverty is the root cause of all social evils, it will not be wrong. 

Poverty as such confronts us with multitude of complex issues. As Professor Shane says:
"Hunger and poverty deprives the human beings of their dignity and self esteem"

Leaving them hopeless and incapable to achieve the kind of life, they value and desire.
The unfair and imbalance distribution of Wealth and poverty is the root cause of all social evils.
They generate the atmosphere of disorder. Anarchy and injustice .
A society surrounded by many social evils and poverty remains backward forever. 

It will not be wrong to say:
"that to end poverty, to end all social crimes"

It is only the "Poverty eleviation that can be the best tool to overcome all social evils "
Because Aristotle said:

"Poverty is the parent of revolution and crime"

Due to poverty bribery,  corruption, holding, black marketing, smuggling, adulteration has put a stop to true progress,  equality and  development. 

As Benjamin Franklin said, 

"Poverty often drives a man of all spirit and virtue. It is hard for an empty bag to Stan up right"

Wide spread of unemployment, marginalization and abuse and terror based in ethnicity, gender or religion,
Social turbulence , repression violence and terror are all sources of poverty.

Only by reducing poverty,  we can build more stronger and prosperous society.  

Vietnam's Story:

Take the example of Vietnam with the subsequent attempts to reduce poverty took march toward towards a successful future. 

Although the path of successful future is slow but still Vietnamese are struggling hard to control poverty and to nip all social evils in the bud. 

I would like to assert here very strongly that "the eradication of poverty is central to global stability and peace"

Only a sound social and economic setup can raise a war against  all social crimes. 

By the eradication of poverty, 
We can transform not only our future but the future of our coming generations. 

Our Determination:

Lets make an investment  in our common future by helping to live people out of poverty!!

So they can in turn help us to transform our world.
