First of all,  we define our topic here and enlighten the some history of Gujranwala. If we  think that why did we choose this topic and why did we highlight the Gujranwala specially??  

Gujranwala Punjab :

Gujranwala is one the biggest cities of Punjab Pakistan.  Gujranwala has 4 tehsils. These tehsils are Gujranwala, Wazirabad, Kamoke, Noshehra Virkan. 

In Gujranwala,  there are important livestock breeds cattle=desi, cross breed buff= Nili Ravi, Goat= beetal and sheep=lohi.

The livestock population from 9211 system are large animals 852991, small animals 259292 and poultry 502269. 

So it's a definitely that when animals are increase,  diseases are also increase. 

In Gujranwala,  only 14  civil veterinary hospitals included labs, 85 civil veterinary dispensaries, 4 mobile veterinary dispensaries, 20 veterinary centres and  1 district diagnostic laboratory.

1. Farmers :

Farmers are the biggest part of every society. In Gujranwala,  there are many farmers. Many of are prebirth farmers like they follow the footstep of their fathers and look after their families. 

Many of the farmers,  who has more than 100 cows and other animals like sheeps and buffalo.  They supply milk in the cities from the villages..  

Some of them has Milk shops and they sell milk and milk related stuff like yogurt etc. 

So,  it's a common thing,  if they have Farms so they will must be needed doctors for their animals.  Sometimes a cow is sick due to infection or wounded due to some reason then their owners are must call the doctors who are specially trained for the animals.. They are called veterinary doctors. 

They trained according to the animal's problems.  They can understand the reasons and expressions of animals who are sick..  

Sometimes a cow is pregnant. A cow gives birth a baby after the 10 months of pregnancy. A veterinarian is look after and checked her on regular basis.  

At of delivery, a veterinarian help her to give birth and after birth,  he gives her injections or some medicines..  

But in our culture,  sometimes a experienced person considers more intelligent than a veterinarian  because he has experience and has some remedies for the disease or for pregnant cow 

Like this cow,  she has given birth of her baby a few minutes ago..  

2. Rural Areas :

In rural areas,  maximum every man has animals in his house. It's may be cows,  sheeps,  goats, hens,  rabbits,  horses,  donkeys or ducks.  They sell their eggs or fulfil their needs.  

From horses,  they run carts for loading of heavy stuff and transfer it from one place to other..  In this respect,  they earn money.

3. Urban Areas :

In urban areas,  a trend is developing which is having pets in homes .Like cats of different breeds and dogs of different and expensive kinds.  

They use the products which are specially designed for the pets like cats food and dogs food or shampoo etc..  

Sometimes when their pets are sick due some carelessness so they check them to veterinarians or go to the animal hospital for complete treatment.  

 Such type of pets are also very sensitive. 

 They need much care and attention.

Proper check up and proper food of their choice is best.. 

4. Pets shops :

Similary, those who run a business of pets like cats and dogs,  they have very expensive breeds.  As we know the more sensitive,  the more care. 

When they cross two breeds or inject some injecttions after the birth of a new one then they go to the doctors and ask them for suitable medication.  

Vaccination is must be injected to the pets or animals after the birth according to the doctor's advice.

5. Horses and Donkeys :

These animals are mostly used on roads for loading stuff on them and transfer from one place to other.  

Horse cart and donkey cart is very common in our central city.   People even cover long distances on them. People use it for transport.   

Due to running on roads,  their  feet injured. Therefore hospitals for animals are very important for us.   

Their grooming is necessary. That's why we take them to the animal's hospitals. 

6. Birds Shop :

Birds are very sensitive also very popular among people.  People like them very much.   Majority has birds like parrots and pigeons at their homes.  

 Some people like Australian parrots but they are very sensitive more than other parrots.  That's why we have to in contact with animal's doctors. 

The people who run a business of birds.. They must be in contact with doctors for their regular and proper care.   

Why Gujranwala need it? 

As we know that in Gujranwala. There are many animals even at homes or on roads and also in farms.  Day by day the number of animals are increased in our city but the number of hospitals for them is on very low rate.  A few hospitals and dispensaries are in our city.  

Not only hospitals are the need of our city for animals, 

Research centers or Laboratories are also the need of time..  Because most of the people import specific and expensive kinds of animals and birds but in Pakistan, there is no faculty for their proper treatment.
